Right now I wouldn't be surprised if there's hardly anyone out there using mirrored. The biggest hull-killers are explosives, kinetics, railguns and plasma.

Almost doubling the price of your ship and rebuys, mirrored leaves you horribly vulnerable to explosives and kinetics - like having no armour at all, light alloys level of vulnerable. They offer little against rails and plasma that plain military won't do a lot better.

Only real use is against big beam or all-pulse/burst laser loadouts, against which mirrored will be practically immune even with shields down. But what use really is that if a single volley of packhounds will then wreck your face?
