I quit using my AspX months ago, and more or less forgot about it.  The Krait (either one) is better on combat, the Phantom or DBX is better for exploration, the Krait MkII or Python is a vastly superior trader, etc.

With the mining changes in Chapter 4, I went looking for something that could properly fit all the new toys, and that's why I'm here.  The AspX is now the best mediium mining ship in the game!  Dedicate all 4 of the small hardpoints to minimg weapons and you can still put a pair of turreted class 2 MCs on top for defense, then stick a 3A refinery, 3A collector limpet, and 3A (or 3C) shield generator, allowing for 104 tons of cargo before returning to base.

Just thought I'd mention it for anyone who maybe has an AspX collecting dust or who has been trying to find a great mining ship without splurging on a Type-7.
