Only the timer. If you're fighting PvP don't expect your opponent to suddenly give up and let you go when your canopy breaks. You could easily spend another 10 minutes trying to finish the fight before you even begin to head off for repair. If you don't, he/she might keep interdicting you, and you really have no chance of escaping without a HUD.

Or you could combat log, but we don't like to talk about combat loggers.
