Perhaps, but if they wanted to address that gap, they'd just make the Python cheaper.  No, really.  As someone who loves my Krait to pieces, I find myself switching back to a Python any time I need to make serious credits, but until I had enough to afford a Python, making money was just freaking HARD.

That, or introduce a new medium ship with more than 200t of cargo space, which I guess was OP's point.

That said, I can understand why someone would want a Mamba.  The Krait Phantom, on the other hand, makes absolutely no sense, unless it's just really, really cheap?
