what vexes me about this page's description of shield mechanics is this enormous hole in that explenation. 

Anaconda: hull mass of 400. stock build with 7A shield generator:595 mj.

Imperial clipper: hull mass of 400. stock build with 7A shield generator: 306 mj.

This alone proves that ship shields in elite dangerous are not based on "shield stats times ship hull mass" that's a load of🐴💩
