Diamondback Explorer + 3C Beam Laser + 2x 2B Seekers = Novice Bounty NPCs and lower all die in less than 10 seconds.  By far the most effective combat setup I've run for under 3m credits.

Do not doubt these.  You'll want to get a Beam or Burst laser for busting the shields first, but after that these are THE best option to anhilate light or medium hulls.  Especially NPCs.  YMMV against humans if they're smart enough to run PD.
