This is 2018 not sure what's change since 2016..but I thought it was a good ship when I had it.  More maneuverable than a Python is crazy, but I went defenses only on it.  4 engineered shield boosters and the thing can plow through just about anything with no damaage.  And I agree that it can boost away before it gets in real trouble.  All in all though I still preferred the Anaconda for transports...if I got interdicted in that, I took them out.  Now I've moved on to the Anacona and sold the others.
