This regional identity userbox creates a userbox that identifies a Wikipedia user who is proud to be from the U.S. State of New York.

Use

To use this userbox template, place the following line of Wiki markup on your user page:

This template creates the following userbox:

New Yorker !

and adds your user page to the following category:

• Category:New York (state) Wikipedians

A nocat=true parameter may be used to inhibit the declaration of these categories.
