Template:Non-free television screenshot
This image is a screenshot of a copyrighted television program. As such, the copyright for it is most likely owned by the company or corporation that produced it. It is believed that the use of a limited number of low-resolution screenshots
- for identification of and critical commentary on the television program and its contents
- on this independent wiki, subject to its image-use policy and applicable law,
qualifies as fair use under the Copyright law of the United States. Any other uses of this image, on this wiki or elsewhere, might be copyright infringement. For more information, see Non-free content.
To the uploader:
- Please add a detailed non-free use rationale for each article the image is used in, which must also declare compliance with the other parts of the non-free content criteria, as well as the source of the work and copyright information.
- For example non-free use rationales, see Use rationale examples.
- This template is only for use on images which are screenshots from television. For screenshots of title cards of television programs or station IDs, use {{Non-free title-card}} instead.
- Template:Non-free use rationale may be helpful for stating the rationale.
