NGC 2467

NGC 2467 is a star-forming region in the Puppis constellation. It is a very active stellar nursery where large clouds of dust and hydrogen gas continuously form new stars. It's about 15,000 light years from Sol. A nickname is the Skull and Crossbones nebula.
