Rhino
Break new ground with a surface mining rig built to unearth new riches, with Vodel’s Rhino SRV. Built for commanders who prefer extraction over exploration, this heavy-duty surface recon vehicle combines rugged performance with impressive mobility. Equipped with a planetary mineral scanner, deployable mining rigs and multi-crew capability for up to three occupants, the Rhino transforms planetary surfaces into financial opportunities for the budding pioneer. With exceptional suspension and handling, capable of traversing difficult terrain, the Rhino is ready to uncover mineral riches wherever you go. [1]
— In-Game Description
The Rhino is a large mining SRV produced by Vodel.[2][3] The heavy-duty, three-person vehicle does planetary surface-mining with deployable mining rigs.[4] Early access for ARX began on 2 September 2026.[3]
Overview
This heavy-duty SRV has a Planetary Mineral Scanner to find resources. It can deploy up to 6 autonomous mining rigs to extract resources. It can hold up to 24 tons of cargo which can be transferred to the parent ship. It can transport up to three commanders. The built in wheel thrusters enable it to jump over obstacles. On the roof is a twin defense repeater/plasma turret.
You can crawl underneath the lumbering Rhino, but it lacks a walk-able interior.
