To anyone trying to rank up in Federation: Post Guardians update! Go to CEOS or SOTHIS systems (these systems are 1 jump away from each other, but outside the bubble so somewhat far about 40 jumps from SOL) There you can do Federation courrier missions between these 2 systems. There is one station at CEOS < 500 LS and 2 stations in SOTHIS <4000Is. I stacked up the missions in about 5-10 minute intervals, jumped to the system delivered them, got missions from the other system for the jump back and repeat. I gained 1 rank per day (5-6 hours of playing) and about 30~40 millions in income total (didnt have to throw away credits to rank up this way :D) . Plus, from leveling with the faction, you can fill your ship with cargo to deliver on your way back to the bubble and if you do it right you can gain 60~80 Mil on a one way trip back. WARNING: Extremely boring: It is preffered to load up your favorite youtube playlist with a program that lets you have a floating window or put a second monitor. Really, this had to be the most boring thing i did in my entire life! After hours of searching and trying different methods like TUN, i found this to be the fasters AND most profitable way to do this!
