Help:Starting this wiki

This independent Elite Dangerous Wiki already has articles, local policies and an editing community. Contributors can help it develop without creating a new hosting installation.

Start contributing

Use Help:Editing for changes to existing pages and Help:Your first article for a new subject. Improve an incomplete explanation, add a useful source or correct a version-specific statistic. Search before creating duplicate articles, templates or policy pages.

Coordinate changes

Discuss community-wide editing work on the Community Portal talk page. Use an article's talk page for its content and a template's talk page for shared formatting. Follow Project:Policies and the local template documentation.

Site administration

Installing extensions, changing server configuration and creating account permissions are separate administrative tasks. A welcome template or imported setup guide does not grant those capabilities. Ask a local administrator about a concrete need, and never publish credentials or configuration secrets on a wiki page. Help:Contents links the local editing guides.
