My friends and I have been playing Elite for a few months on Xbox One now and we have been moving in to the territory of Background Sim and Minor factions. We have found ourselves in a system far up in Alliance Space with a Pristine-Metallic planetary ring and a group of undesirables holding the local system in their control. Two space stations orbit seperate planets in the system, A Coriolis type station held by a group of Unfettered Raiders(Our dear Rivals), And an Outpost type station under the ownership of a corporation. Us being frequent miners immediately accepted the Corporation as our party to support as we believe they will grant more mineral type missions and proper Secuity Forces. We have begun a campaign of harassment against the Raiders and stopped selling any sort of product to their station. We have tried selling all our minerals only to the small station, dropping in to extraction zones and only targetting the Raiders and transporting much needed food to the smaller outpost. None of this has resulted in any sort of down-shift of our rival's influence in the sytem or a significant climb for our corporation. Fighting an Unfettered Minor Faction has to be one of the most irritating but invloving things weve come across in our space voyages. It would be immensly appreciated if any player has any input on fighting these kinds of groups in other parts of the Galaxy. My friends and I have read many guides about the Minor Factions influence system but with all our applied knowledge nothing seems to budge these Most Royal of Arse Holes. Please share any information you may have!
