Senate House

The Senate House on Capitol is where historically the Imperial Senate used to physically sit. It is near the Imperial Palace. Technically the Senate still does sit there, but in practice most Senators "sit" virtually by remote projection – though by tradition there are a number of events (like the accession of a new Emperor, and on Empire Day (2 January) where it is considered proper and polite to attend physically. A party atmosphere descends on Capitol as the entourages of each Senator arrive in their finery.
