Main article: Docking

The Access Corridor is an entrance and airlock. It is also named mailslot as a result of its distinctive shape, wider than it is tall. The Access Corridor is one of the greatest obstacles to speed docking and use of larger ships.

This is a table of which ship can perform a 360° roll in the Access Corridor. Note that the slot can be a different size in different types of station, thus some ships may be able to perform a roll on an Orbis or Ocellus starport but not a Coriolis.[citation needed]
