Thargoid Maelstrom

Thargoid Maelstroms are mysterious nebulae-like formations. It is speculated that they obscure some sort of mothership, or maybe something else entirely. Several Maelstroms arrived to the core systems in November 3308, bringing about devastating Thargoid attacks.
