Credits
Credits (abbreviated as "CR") is the universal currency in Elite: Dangerous. Everything bought, sold, or paid for is valued and calculated in credits. Physical money or cash is not used, as all credits are digital and stored/exchanged electronically.
Every Commander uses the Bank of Zaonce. Players can check their current credit balance and total credits accumulated by viewing the STATUS menu of the right hand panel of his/her ship, or in Starport Services when docked at a station.
