Boost Speed

Boost speed is the speed a ship travels when the boost function is activated. This accelerates the ship past it's maximum normal speed capabilities. Boost is useful for that extra bit of speed when you need it, like when pursuing a fleeing target who's in a faster ship than you, or escaping from danger yourself.

The maximum boost speed of a ship can only be achieved by pressing the boost button.

Different ships have different maximum boost speeds, currently ranging from 200 to 500 m/s.
