Experimental Weapon Stabiliser
Template:Equipment Infobox Template:Quote The Experimental Weapon Stabiliser is an optional module for ships that increases the amount of Experimental Weapons a ship may equip. This module comes in sizes of 3F and 5F, allowing an Experimental Weapon capacity of five and six, respectively. Only one Experimental Weapon Stabiliser module can be equipped per ship.
These modules were developed by Azimuth Biotech for ships engaging in anti-xeno combat against the Thargoids[1], though it can be used for other purposes. It was released to market in 3309[2] following a Community Goal delivery initiative[3][4]. It's only offered for purchase from a limited list of megaships and starports, and the available stock of each Class can fluctuate based on recent buying activity.

- The Experimental Weapon Stabiliser was first made available during the Elite Dangerous: Odyssey 14.01 and 14.02 updates (respectively Class 3F on 26 January 2023, and Class 5F on 2 February 2023).[4]
- The Type-8 Update (18.08) released on 6 August 2024 removed the power draw from Experimental Weapon Stabilisers.[5]
