Built by Gutamaya, the Imperial Clipper is one of the Empire's ships and thus are generally sold at Stations that are aligned with the Empire. To purchase the Imperial Clipper players must have earned the rank of "Baron" with the Imperial Navy. This ship is quite popular with pirates, traders, and some explorers. It is a reasonable pirate ship due to the large cargo capacity, heavy armament and fairly decent speed which allows it to go where it pleases and attack who it pleases. Traders may find this ship appealing due to its superb cargo capacity and defensive capability; while it is more expensive than the Lakon Type-7 it can easily defend itself against a pirate.

The ship's cockpit canopy at the right viewing angle gives the pilot an unobstructed view of the surroundings making the Imperial Clipper very popular among explorers.

This ship is designed for luxury and if that's what you're looking for you won't be let down. The interior is beautiful, one of the best cockpits out of all the current available ships. The exterior is just as beautiful. It also sounds different to other ships in a way that can't be described until you've heard it for yourself, though you won't be disappointed.

This ship is designed for those wanting to upgrade from a Lakon Type-7 to something that can do the same job, but defend itself. The difference between the two, from a handling perspective, is phenomenal. It feels more like you're flying in a small Viper than a ship as wide as a Lakon Type-9. The only thing you'll need to remember is, although it speeds up quickly, it slows down slowly. So keep that in mind when approaching a station to dock.

The ultimate question is, is it worth the Empire reputation grind to Baron? The answer is simply, yes.
