Emotes
Emotes are gestures that On Foot commanders can use to physically communicate with others. They are selected through the InSight Hub of the HUD. Emotes are context-sensitive and can be directed at other commanders or the ship.[1][2]

There are currently 8 emotes.

| Applaud | If directed at the player's ship or SRV, the vessel will toggle it's headlights. | |

| Point | Applies temporary HUD markers to highlight points of interest to Team members. | |

| Wave | If directed at the player's ship while landed on the surface of a planet, the ship will be dismissed to orbit. If you wave at an NPC they will occasionally wave back. |
