Normal Speed

Normal speed is the speed a ship travels in normal space, without activating the boost function.

The maximum normal speed of a ship can only be achieved by:

full throttle
four pips in ENG
landing gear retracted
fuel scoop retracted
flight assist on

Different ships have different maximum normal speeds, currently ranging from 130 to 330.
