Interstellar Initiative
Interstellar Initiatives are an upgraded form of Community Goals. They feature a series of in-game events that play out over the course of a month with multiple phases and an evolving narrative. Some Interstellar Initiatives will have a lasting effect on the galaxy, and can add a new module or Synthesis recipe, affect the infrastructure of a system, or even alter the balance of power between the superpowers[1]
Bridging the Gap
The first Interstellar Initiative, "Bridging the Gap", begins on April 29, 3305. A corporation wants to harvest Guardian technology and seeks assistance in constructing a Megaship, The Conduit, that will serve as a ferry between the Core Systems and Guardian space. A rival corporation will try to muscle in on the initiative to profit from Guardian tech itself.
