Thargoid Barnacle

The Alien Barnacle is an alien organic structure found in multiple systems, including the Merope (planet 5 C at C-026.3496´-156.4044´). It was discovered by CMDR Octo on January the 14th of 2016 (or 3302 in game). The sight is visible from a distance of up to 4.41 kilometers.

It appears to consist of a main core that grows "spikes" in the vicinity of it. Various materials can be gathered by destroying those spikes.
