This is the automated maintenance account for Elite Dangerous Wiki, operated by Mistflux Games. It runs independently of Fandom and Wikipedia.
Tasks
- Date supported existing maintenance tags.
- Add Uncategorized and Orphan tags when the wiki confirms the condition.
- Remove those tags when resolved, but only when this bot added them.
- Reuse exactly identical named references. Conflicting references are reported for human review.
- Report missing files, missing templates and reference errors centrally.
The bot does not judge neutrality, article quality, accuracy, notability or deletion eligibility. It respects {{nobots}} and {{bots|deny=EliteMaintenanceBot}}. If an editor removes one of its tags, it does not re-add that tag automatically.
Controls and reports
Administrators can stop all task edits by setting enabled to false in the protected JSON control page. Each task can also be disabled separately. Checks resume after a restart using saved checkpoints. Edits are paced and resource limited.
