The Occupied Escape Pod can be found within Salvageable Wreckage signatures and in Points of Interest on the surfaces of planets and moons.
Can be turned in to Search and Rescue Agents at ports. May or not come with a reward, depending.
Considered legal.
Bulletin Boards in surface ports sometimes give missions to retrieve Occupied Escape Pods.
