Conflict zones are locations where two factions are fighting. Once the player enters normal space at one of these zones they can choose a faction to temporarily side with and fight against the opposition. For each opponent the player kills the player is rewarded with 3,000 CR plus any bounties their prey had active. These locations spawn predominantly combat NPCs that are sided with one of the two sides of the conflict.
Generally these locations will spawn in systems where a civil war is present.[citation needed]
Notes
- Will be displayed (and lockable) in the Contacts panel when the player's ship is close enough to a spawned zone.
