Class 1 Pulse Laser (Gimballed) mounted on a Viper

A pulse laser is mounted on one of your ship's hardpoints and needs assigning to a fire group before you can use it. It's an energy weapon which causes immediate damage to any ship it intersects at effective range. Pulse lasers can deliver a significant amount of damage in a single hit. Unlike beam lasers that fire continuously when they are active, a pulse laser fires intermittently in an on/off fashion - even when you hold down the fire button. Pulse lasers do not overheat as quickly as beam lasers and have a lower heat signature.

Pulse lasers are available as turreted, fixed, and gimballed mounted weapons.
