Missiles are guided projectiles that carry an explosive payload. They can be launched from the Missile Rack, a C2 weapon.

Missiles are fast-moving and highly maneuverable. Their damage is also respectable; newer pilots may find them especially hard to deal with, as they are quick to destroy a naked Sidewinder. An alert will sound when a missile has been fired while locked to the player, and the missile can be seen on the radar, but outmaneuvering them can be very tricky. Boosting with flight assist off to maintain max speed in a Sidewinder will not outrun a missile. Currently, the only hard defense against missiles is a Point Defence Turret, which will shoot them down as they approach.

Missiles can be purchased like any ammunition and cost 10,000 for a pack of twelve, making them roughly 834 credits each.
