Welcome to the Elite Dangerous Wiki
A galaxy of knowledge on Elite: Dangerous

About

Elite: Dangerous is the latest installment of a long series of epic space games, starting with Elite by Ian Bell and David Braben - one of the most successful games of the 1980s. In the 1990s, David Braben created the sequels Frontier: Elite II and Frontier: First Encounters.

If you just have general questions about game and it's development, please read Elite:_Dangerous_FAQ first.

If you want to support game development, please go to Frontier Developments Elite: Dangerous site to register as backer and choose your pledge level.

Why does this wiki exist?

This wiki was created to allow collection of game documentation, how-to articles, theory and game data about Elite: Dangerous, the latest project by Frontier Developments.

Obviously, the game doesn't exist yet, so users are welcome to post information about the game released so far and during the development, alpha and beta phases. Once the game is released, speculative and design related pages will be moved to make way for facts and data about the game and updates.
