Small, nimble ships are the suggested ships for mining, as they are better able to manoeuvre around asteroids, in tight asteroid belts and rings. Larger classes of ships such as the [[Python]], [[Imperial Clipper]], [[Federal Corvette]], and the [[Anaconda]], although can make good mining ships, are not as manoeuvrable and as such cannot be recommended.
