Professor '''Thomas Dorne''' is a scientist who led the first phase of [[Project Seraph]] at [[Oaken Point]] in HIP 26176. Dorne documented his team's experiments with living human test subjects who had been surgically implanted with devices to allow them to neurologically interface with and control a captured [[Thargoid]] ship, presumed to be a [[Thargoid Scout]]. Partway through the trials, after one subject finally managed to fly the ship a short distance, the ship fell dormant and could no longer be used. With no other Thargoid craft available to continue the experiments, Project Seraph was relocated to [[Fort Asch]] at [[HIP 22460]]. Professor [[Kaley Orenn]] took charge of the project's second phase, while Dorne was reassigned.
