Operations Multi Limpet Controller

This module is capable of deploying limpet types suitable for salvage and data recovery operations.

— In-Game Description

The Operations Multi Limpet Controller is a Limpet Controller that can program limpets with the Collector, Hatch Breaker, or Recon functions as needed. Although it is more flexible than the specialised modules it combines, it is only available in a small size, is less efficient, and has significantly greater mass.

Usage

The Operations Multi Limpet Controller combines the functions of the Collector Limpet Controller, Hatch Breaker Limpet Controller, and Recon Limpet Controller into a single module, making it well-suited for piracy, salvage, and search and rescue activities. The convenience of this is offset by the module's lack of size options, preventing it from being equipped on any ships that do not possess a Class 3 or larger Internal Compartment, and its increased mass.

Notes

• The Operations Multi Limpet Controller is one of five Multi Limpet Controllers added in Elite Dangerous: Odyssey Update 9. It can be purchased by both Odyssey and Elite Dangerous: Horizons owners.
• Because the Operations Multi Limpet Controller allows four limpets to be active at once regardless of type, it can serve as a sidegrade to the stardard Recon Limpet Controller that hacks slightly more slowly but can hack multiple points at once, whereas Recon Limpet Controllers regardless of size can only have one limpet active at a time.
• The mass of the module was significantly reduced in Odyssey Update 9.02.
