The Caspian Explorer is a large exploration ship produced by Zorgon Peterson. The ship was announced on 4 November 2025 and is planned for early access for ARX on 2 December 2025.[1][2]
Overview
The Caspian Explorer hull design has a saucer-shaped, low profile with 6 main engine exhausts, 4 of which are on 2 movable nacelles on either side of the ship that retract and extend laterally.[1] The cockpit has a large open glass view.
It will permit use of three new Mk II modules:
- Armour which allows for steeper, faster gliding and seamless orbital approaches
- Optimised thrusters tuned for near-planet flight, reducing the impact of gravity on thrusters
- FSD supercharge upgrade which pushes the range further when scooping from neutron and white dwarf stars[2]
