Space Depot

The Space Depot is a temporary orbital structure. It's deployed when you place a new orbital facility or starport during the system colonisation process.

Overview

The Space Depot has multiple phases:

Construction hub

The System Architect can choose the location for a new orbital station. The Space Depot spawns to manage the incoming deliveries of required commodities and building materials.

Material delivery

Pilots must haul and deliver specific quantities of commodities to the Space Depot to progress and complete the construction of the orbital structure.

Activation

Once all required goods are delivered, the space depot is replaced by the newly built station. The station services will go live during the weekly server tick.
