A social hub is a location within a Station or Surface Port where commanders can meet with each other, take on missions, acquire new personal weapons and specialised Remlok Suits, exchange or sell certain commodities, watch arriving and departing ships, and more.[1]
Social hubs will be added in Elite Dangerous: Odyssey.[2]
Types
There are three distinct types of social hubs, each corresponding to the type of facility in which they are located. For example, in the system Ross 263, Doi City and Volta Gateway will have Spaceport social hubs; Buffett Hub, Coats Terminal, and Fulton Station will have Outpost social hubs; and Neumann Survey and Vardeman Observatory will have Planetports. Spaceport
Spaceports are found in the three starport models, the Coriolis, Ocellus, and Orbis.
Outpost
Outposts are found in Asteroid Bases and orbital Outposts.
Planetport
Planetports are found in Planetary Ports.
