The wealthy, outspoken anti-Federation activist Marlin Duval left Federal space with her family and colonists due to her disenfranchisement with the increasing rigidity of the Earth governments and stifling social conformity.[2] In the middle of the 23rd century she lead the colonization of the habitable moon Achenar 6d in the Achenar system. It's an outdoor world with a human-breathable atmosphere and indigenous sapient species.[5]
