The Orca is currently one of three known passenger ships, the others being the Dolphin and the Beluga Liner. In the current game (v1.3.08) there is not much difference between a passenger ship and other ships except for the sleek and fashionable design, long windows, and luxurious interior.

Notes

  • Initially decals could not be fitted. Now they can and even some basic paint jobs are available (Vibrant pack)
  • The Orca is the only ship in game that cannot fit a optimal sized shield. It requires a size 6 for optimal, but can only take a size 5 in one of the size 5 slots.
  • The Orca sells for a 20% discount at Irkutsk in the Alioth system. (As Alioth is the political center of the Alliance, a system permit is required. Places to get such a permit include Rominger Dock in the 78 Ursae Majoris system. Look for the "Making Friends And Going Places" job on the Bulletin Board.)
  • A 'fasten seatbelt' tone will sound in the cabin when using this ships boost.
