Line 5:
== Discuss the content ==
Assess relevance, evidence, duplication and the value of the page history. Keep criticism directed at the content rather than the author. A nomination is not a decision, and discussion is based on reasons rather than a ballot.
== Outcome ==
Summarise any agreement on the same talk page. An administrator records any deletion in the local log. If useful content is retained elsewhere, document its origin and maintain appropriate redirects. See [[Project:Consensus]].
== Notices and discussion records ==
Use {{tl|Afd}} on the affected page to identify the active local discussion. Supply
discussion=Talk:Page title#Section
, or the appropriate namespace talk page, when the discussion is in a particular section. Notify the creator and affected maintainers with a neutral message. A notice does not decide the outcome or start an automatic deletion countdown.
Record the outcome and reasons on the same talk page, then remove the active notice. Preserve useful history and attribution when merging or replacing content. Disputed deletion or restoration can be raised through [[Project:Deletion review]].
