Found him! Thanks! seems weak signal sources are usually just canisters. the Gen X was not wanted and I had to wait for him to attack me. he had a federal dropship and a sindwinder wingman. the sindwinder attacked first and I made the mistake of trying to kill it first. I should have gotten the dropship out of the way as he was more dangerous and an easier target. Or maybe I would have lost either way as I am just in a cobra.
