Lugh has been an interesting place within the galaxy due to the Lugh for Independence movement to flip Lugh from Federation to an independent system. It wasn't until the movement caught traction and flipped /Balandin Gateway/ that GalNet started reporting on it. Because of this reporting a lot more people noticed the movement and decided to join in and increase the /Crimson State Group/ influence within the system. After official voting took place it was seen as invalid due to the huge voting abstention within the local populace, because of this the Federation started a war against the Crimson State Group which went to be called The War for Lugh
