The Cobra Mk. III is also a very good and affordable exploration ship due to the very sizable fueltank (16x) and very adaquite amount of internal compartments (6x slots) wich allows for the placement of the nessecary exploration modules such as a discovery scanner aswel as a DSS (Detailed Surface Scanner), a fuelscoop and 1 or 2 Auto-field-maintenance-unit's without the need to sacrifice the shield! This makes the Cobra Mk. III an excellent choice for the aspiring explorer who does not yet posses the funds to buy themselves the ultimate exploration ship namely the: Asp Explorer. | |||
