The Mandalay is an upcoming medium, explorer ship by [[Zorgon Peterson]].
The developers said it "give the Anaconda a run for it's money" in terms of jump range. It is optimized for SCO and will be as-stable or more than the Type-8.
The boarding ramp is under the cockpit which makes it easier to line up the landing for [[Exobiologist|exobiological]] scanning.
The early access release date is October 2024.
It's named after the Mandalay spitting cobra.
