ShipsIn the [[Elite Dangerous: Odyssey|Odyssey]] version, ships may be fitted with a specialized frame-shift drive (designated with "SCO" and only available as C-Class) that is able to be overcharged during supercruise, enabling acceleration to hundreds of times the speed of light in mere seconds. Overcharging quickly results in great fuel usage and severe heat buildup, and may require the use of either additional [[Fuel Tank|Fuel Tanks]] or [[Heatsink Launcher|Heatsink Launchers]] to keep stable for longer periods of time. Frame-Shift Drives capable of overcharging are unable to be boosted by [[Engineers|Engineering]].
