The Anaconda Mk II is an upcoming large multirole ship produced by Faulcon DeLacy. This vessel is a redesign of its classic predecessor, the Anaconda. Early access for ARX launches in October 2026.[1] Art Director Chris Gregory described it as a battleship or a deep-space tanker.[1]

Overview

The classic Anaconda released in 2856 so a successor was long-overdue 456 years later. It is FSD SCO compatible for faster intra-system flying. It has more large hardpoints than the original.[2] The Mark II is significantly more refined.[3] The hull is flattened, but longer and a wider wedge shape of the stern section.[3] The raised bridge improves the bridge's visibility like an aircraft carrier's island.[3] The bridge has 4 pilot seats for multicrew. The center of the top hull runs like a trench to the bow. The middle of the bow was removed to improve the view from the bridge. The two prongs resemble a Farragut-Class Battle Cruiser. Between the prongs is another large hardpoint. It has new broadly spaced legs for stable landing on planets. The stern has 4 large thrusters with vectoring flaps. A large ramp below the hull opens towards the bow.

Development

The Anaconda Mk II was first unveiled on the official Elite Dangerous website on 24 September 2026.[1]
