Pipe Nebula

The Pipe Nebula is a dark nebula in the Inner Orion Spur, approximately 480 light-years from Sol. Named for its distinctive shape, it consists of two parts, sometimes considered to be two separate nebulae: Pipe (Stem) and Pipe (Bowl).
