For under 1,000,000 Credits, it can venture out in the black for months fitted with all the essential exploration gear and a good [[Jump range|jump-range]]. If you're willing to sacrifice the shields and a little jump range, the [[Shield Generator|2D Shield Generator]] can be swapped out for a [[Planetary Vehicle Hangar|2G Planetary Vehicle Hangar]]. The build below, recommended for starter exploration, has a jump range of 35.6 LY.
