Template:R from UN/LOCODE

• From a UN/LOCODE geographic code: This is a redirect from a title that is a UN/LOCODE geographic code to an article or page associated with that code.

Usage

This rcat template should be used on mainspace redirects only.

• This redirect category (rcat) template automatically populates Category:Redirects from UN/LOCODE and Category:Unprintworthy redirects by default. In 2003, efforts were begun to support the Wikimedia Foundation's goal of increasing access and availability of Wikipedia articles in printed versions. Mainspace redirects that are UN/LOCODE geographic codes are not suitable for a printed version. In other words such redirects are unprintworthy.

• This rcat may be used on pages in other namespaces, but only if used for tracking purposes or other special maintenance needs.
• Add this rcat to a redirect page in the following manner:

Template {{Rcat shell}} is an alias for the Redirect category shell template, which may be used to add as many appropriate rcats as needed, usually from one to seven, along with their parameters, to a redirect. For more information see the documentation on its template page. This rcat may also tag a redirect individually:

• Use this rcat to tag any mainspace redirect from a title that is a United Nations Code for Trade and Transport Locations (UN/LOCODE) geographic code for its target article. See the category for examples.
• Whenever possible, these redirects will automatically be sorted in the category by the codes without the "UN/LOCODE:" prefix.
