This page provides an index of templates used within Elite Dangerous Wiki, many of which convey messages; they are grouped into topic-specific headings. For information on what templates are and how to use them, see Help:Template.

For practical examples and advice, see the local template guide.
For navigation templates rather than notices, see navigation templates. For stub templates (used to flag articles as incomplete and needing significant expansion), see stub types on Wikipedia. For some examples of message templates, see Project:Template index/Examples. For examples of combined message boxes, see combined message boxes.
